Why must you be so dedicated to living in the past?

Forming a habit out of replaying the situation that hurt you endless times in your head, refueling the anger that it brought you, all for what?

It isn't tiring, at all? Making your mind twirl like a tornado with thoughts of spite?

You're causing yourself to self destruct, yet failing to see that it's you who is inflicting it.

Spending so much time repetitively focusing your energy on upholding resentment towards another.

Devoting an immense amount of effort into keeping a negative part of your life alive which should be laid to rest.

All you are doing is holding yourself back from growth and realizing that there is more to life than the hate you harbor inside.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Allow yourself to grant others forgiveness and release, it's okay to let go.

Flooding your spirit with hostility will only be your own, tragic, demise.
